Bookzone is a 100% New Zealand owned and operated online and mail order seller of new books. We are based in the Coromandel Peninsula town of Tairua, which enables us to keep our prices lower than our city based competitors. We have been in the book business for 18 years, and online for ten years. We specialise in the latest release books, and source them directly from one of the largest book distributors in the world. However, if you are looking for any other books, old or new, we will do our best to source them for you. Our supplier has over 1,750,000 books on their database, which means we can get virtually any book that other online retailers have access to, so if you see something elsewhere, chances are we can get it too. Important information:

Most of our orders come from people who are on our monthly mailing list. This mailing list alerts all of our customers that the site has been updated with the upcoming new releases, which means that they never miss out on their favourite authors new titles. If you would like to be added to this update list then simply email us and we will do the rest.

Each book category is completely updated every month. Under each category of book you will find a page that contains a list of titles that are due to be released in the near future, as well as a link to a page containing titles that were recently released. Our Archives page contains listings for the previous ten months worth of releases, any of which can still be ordered through us. Please note that Bookzone does not actually carry stock of most books listed on its website, as this would prevent us from being able to offer such competitive prices. As a result, we only order books when a firm order has been placed for them. Bookzone brings in book shipments approximately every 15 - 17 days, which means that most orders can be filled within 6 - 12 working days.

New titles are released by the publisher on a monthly basis, therefore the time of the month that you place your order determines how long it takes to fill your order. The average time for an order to be filled is about two weeks, but can be as little as one week if your order coincides with our shipping schedule.
